Grooming a Pomeranian requires a great deal of attention. The coat consists of a short, woolly undercoat and a long, full topcoat, which must be well maintained. It is important that the coat is thoroughly combed out and detangled so that the skin can breathe. Additionally, the Pomeranian's double coat also requires care.
